Chanel Haute Couture Spring 2013

The Chanel Haute Couture was presented today and i must admit, for the first time in my life, i am not impressed...
Yes, there still are some divine pieces... (i loved the open toe boots) but the on the whole... i just couldn't help myself. I didn't get it... the nests on the models heads??Feathers? Why, Karl?? Why??

Karl Lagerfeld has lunched his new line Karl a few weeks ago. This one is made for everyone- for you and me.
Now everyone has the chance to posess  a piece of Karl hanging in the closet as it is chic and affordable at the same time.

Probably this is the reason why you can see Karl, the Great in  Elle France like you have never seen him before. ..As a Normalo.

The editorial shows him, Saskia de Brauw and Caroline Brasch cooking, driving, facebooking and grocery shopping!

154 shades of BLUE- but no blues at all

An another genius haute couture Chanel collection.

After icebergs, farm scenes and formal gardens, a life-sized plane was constructed in the Grand Palais.

Karl said yesterday, his creations feature 154 different shades of blue... powder blue, sky blue, violet blue, royal blue, cobalt, midnight, navy, electric....amazing..there obviously was no blues!!!

This is my favorite... although i wouldn't mind having any other piece.. 

Chanel is just...Chanel!

and for all fashionistas out there, i can smell a DIY here...jewel encrusted tights...

Yesterday Chanel invited for the most spectacular show at  the Grand Palais in Paris.
An Indian-themed dinner party for the Chanel Metiers d’Art show.
Amazing, designs, amazing, decor... a little Chanel train on the table...
In previous years, Canel showed  Paris- Byzance, Paris-Shanghai and Paris-Mosco all presenting luxury fabrics and rich embroidery with silver and gold detailing.
