Mirrored Furniture

OH my! Mirrored furniture, how i love thee!!!

Mirrored furniture traditionally comes from Venice, where the mirror production began in the early 16th century.
It didn't become widely available until 1900 when higher quality and mass mirror production became popular.

This popularity reaches it's summit during the art déco period- a modernization movement that focused on minimalism and clean lines.

Mirrors are guaranteed to match any color scheme already present in your room and although they cannot create the illusion of a larger space, they cast light around the room. Which is perfect when you live in a small condo.

The problem with this kind of furniture besides delicacy is that the glass surface doesn't hide fingerprints or dust very well. Special care must also be taken to move those pieces around to avoid cracks which can be very expensive to repair.
Nevertheless, i love it and i am dreaming of a glamorous vanity for so long now. Unfortunately i haven't  found none appealing to me... the search continues..

Madhatter

I am a hat person. I like them all and fortunately i can wear all kinds, shapes and colors.
Right now i am in a desperate need of a wide rim one...or even better a fedora with a wide ribbon!!!

I need to find one soon....

Nail'd

Have you ever wished to try the latest nail polishes without spending your last dime on expensive brands like Chanel or Dior?

Lacquerous is a new online service that sends you every month three bottles lacquer of your choice just for a small fee  (18 $).

It's only available in the US but i can imagine it could swap over to Europe.

Would you try it??
