TULIP by Eero Saarinen

Eero Saarinen was a finish-american architect and industrial designer, famous for his purist approach to design and sculptural cuves.
In 1956 he introduces his Pedestral Collection to be added to his Tulip Collection of chairs which were taken into production by Knoll then and still are nowadays.
With his Tulips Saarinen wanted to clear up the slum of legs, which is why his design was often considerered "space age" for its futuristic use of curves. They were popularized by its use on the original Star Treck series 66-69.

Simple a classic and timeless piece of furniture...
