Chanel takes over Harrod's

Synonymous for Luxury pure, Chanel has taken over the world known department store Harrod's in London!!
Every single window has been decorated in all Chanel. Chanel logos, Chanel mannequins,

 Chanel, Chanel, Chanel.

The Take-Over will last 3 Weeks from  the 5.9.2011

There even is a Coco Nursery with rows of teddybears and an enormous doll house in the style of the parisian store!!! How cool is that?

When you enter the haute Couture Room, you will suddenly feel like you've entered Coco's very own apartment.

If you have the Chance of being in London any time soon, go and take a look!!!! I'm overwhelmed!!!

Fornasetti

Ever since i began to get interested in art, interior design and architecture years ago i fell in love with the Fornasetti designs.

Pietro Fornasetti, an italian painter, sculptor and interior decorator was a extraordinary visionary whose interests in the arts were diversified.

Many of his designs features a woman's face, the one of Operatic soprano Lina Cavalieri.
Once he began with the production, he could never stop.
Today she looks down at us from plates, chairs and even wallpaper.

(I as well have a piece of that wallpaper pinned on my inspiration board.)

Please take a closer look at their flag ship store in Milan here.

Cobbler?Crumble!

Yesterday i had a bit time and wanted to try a new receipt i found on the web... a hopscotch cobbler!!
to me it looks like a crumble!

Since i didn't have all the ingredients requested, i undertook some changes...

and this is what i found when i came home!! Hubby was hungry... obviously!! He ordered another one for the weekend!!

A big thank you to Dhi over at cookingetcetera for sharing!!!
