Cristmas Decorations

I really am not a christmas person... i have no idea when i stopped believing in christmas...i think it just came slowly from year to year.
We are 3 days away , i still haven't put up any x-massy decoration.made no cookies. I am a horrible person, i know...i am the grinch!
Hopefully this will change once i have kids...

Ok, this has almost been a real fashion week... so i come back to posting interiors...
Have you ever thought of framing old maps to decorate your walls?? Or put old globes on side tables??
Maybe you should...! maps and globes really aren't big boys toys....

Venetian

I posted already about my love for the lamps but my love for mirrors is as big! I just can stop looking at them, even though i really have no place where to put them.

My all time favorite are the venetian mirrors.
Nestled among 117 sister islands in the canals of Venice, lies Murano, the birthplace of the famed venetian mirror.
Murano, back in the 15th century was known for its high quality glassware. And as a matter of fact still is...

I will have to wait for a trip to Venice to buy THE mirror i' ve always wanted...

I don't know about you but i am constantly looking for lamps and lampshades even though i do not need them necessarily.. but look at these beauties (and i must admit that ikea now has quite pretty ones)..

I found a pair similar to these at a local flea market but an other woman was faster than i was... i still regretting them...

I have a glas container just like the one in the picture below, but more on this later...
